From the editor. In 1948, the publishing house of the all-Russian society of nature protection published a book by M. N. St. Nicholas “With the lure to predatory fish.” Surprisingly, in these hard post-war years, written books about fishing. But surprise already at the first meeting and more. Much of what is understood by the fishermen a century ago about fishing on the spoon from the ice, is relevant today. So we begin to publish excerpts from this book. We hope that this publication will be interesting to our readers.
lesnina is a separate type of fishing, used since time immemorial anglers that feed a passion for individual gear. We are used to trolling for perch and catch it sometimes in large quantities, but in addition to perch can blesnet and pike. If to look deeper into this issue, there are still a number of fish species, which can with great success to catch a minnow.
